REGISTRATION:
2024 Soccer registration closed May 31.  No refunds (other than medical) will be provided after June 14th to coincide with SAY soccer roster completion. 

SMALL-SIDED GAMES:
SAY Soccer is continuing with the format of small team sizes to facilitate the development of our youth soccer players:

• Passers and Wings will play 7v7 on a smaller-size field
• Strikers will play 9v9 on a medium-size field
• Kickers will continue to play 11v11 on a full-size field

TEAM SELECTION:
All team rosters are determined by SAY.  Coordinators are not able to guarantee team placement.  Age groups are 1st-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, 5th -6th, and 7th-8th grade. 

Every player is required to play a minimum of two quarters per game.  Therefore, the maximum number of players per team is 14 for 7v7 age groups, 18 for 9v9 age groups, and 22 for 11v11 age groups. No exceptions.  The total number of registrations per age group will determine how many teams we have.  Coaches and assistant coaches will be placed on a team together.  The rest of the roster is determined by SAY. 

We are unable to have players switch teams, or accommodate any request to be on a specific team outside of head and assistant coaches being placed together. (maximum of 2 coaches placed together per team)

NOTES:
Passers games typically played on Sundays between 1:00-5:00 PM.

The St. Ignatius Kindergarten Soccer program takes place on 5 consecutive Saturdays, starting the Saturday after Labor Day.  All games are 7 vs 7 and take place on Field 4 at St. Ignatius.  We typically have 8 teams comprised of St. Ignatius kindergarteners.  They practice for 20-30 minutes, immediately followed by a 30-40 minute game against one of the other St. Ignatius teams.  (1 hour total per week)  Players will be given a team uniform shirt to keep.  Cleats are suggested but not required.  Shin guards covered by socks are required.   A size 3 ball is used at this age.  Following each game, players are invited to enjoy a complimentary drink and snack from the concession stand. 

This program is for kids in kindergarten.  No pre-school participants will be allowed.  We typically have a high percentage of Kindergarten boys and girls play, with over 80 kids participating each year! 

Registration runs through July.  Teams are formed once registration closes.  You should expect to hear from a coach mid-to-late August.

St. Ignatius families are invited to attend a fun night at TQL stadium with FC Cincinnati!  FCC will be playing FC Juárez on Sunday, August 3rd. It's a great way to spend time with friends and teammates for an action-packed game!

Tickets are being sold at a discounted rate of $24 each and will be located in section 105.  You can order a maximum of 10 tickets per family.  You must have a SeatGeek account for us to transfer your purchased tickets to you for this game.  We will reach out to those who purchase tickets at a later date to get your SeatGeek account information in order to transfer your tickets to you before the game. 

Please purchase tickets before July 1st.  Note: once we hit 200 tickets sold, ticket sales may close due to the number of seats being held for us by TQL for this event.
